Seedlings & Saplings (2 -3 years)

Seedlings & Saplings

Ages 2–3+ Years

"From tiny seeds grow mighty trees."

Welcome to Seedlings & Saplings, our Montessori-inspired classroom designed especially for curious children ages two and three. These early years are filled with incredible growth, and we are honored to partner with families during this exciting stage of development.

Our classroom is a place where little hands are busy, little minds are engaged, and little hearts feel safe and loved. Through purposeful work, meaningful play, and hands-on discovery, children develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.

Every child grows at their own pace, and we celebrate each milestone along the way.

Seedlings & Saplings

teaching philosophy

We believe young children learn best by doing. Our prepared classroom encourages children to:

  • Build independence
  • Develop confidence
  • Explore with curiosity
  • Practice kindness and respect
  • Learn through hands-on experiences

Our teachers guide and encourage each child while honoring their individual growth and interests.

learning through purposeful work

Our daily activities support the whole child through:

Practical Life

  • Pouring, scooping, cleaning, dressing, food preparation, and caring for the classroom.

Language

  • Stories, songs, conversation, vocabulary, and early literacy experiences.

Math & Sensorial

  • Counting, sorting, matching, patterns, colors, shapes, and sensory exploration.

Art & Music

  • Painting, drawing, music, movement, and creative expression.

Nature

  • Outdoor play, gardening, seasonal discoveries, and caring for living things.

Growing Independence

We encourage children to do as much as they can for themselves. Simple tasks like washing hands, choosing work, cleaning up, and caring for the classroom help build confidence and responsibility.

Learning Together

Our classroom is a caring community where children practice:

  • Kindness
  • Sharing
  • Taking turns
  • Respect
  • Grace and courtesy
  • Problem-solving

These social skills are just as important as academic growth.

Partnering With families

We value strong partnerships with families and believe children thrive when home and school work together. Open communication, consistent routines, and encouraging independence help support every child's success.

In Seedlings & Saplings, every child is welcomed, respected, and encouraged to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy.

Planting the seeds of independence today for a lifetime of learning tomorrow.
